1997 freeware RPG Amel Broat returns as a remake on Nintendo Switch
Ukidakensetsu has released Amel Broat, a full remake of the 1997 freeware RPG by solo developer Shou, on Nintendo Switch. Originally released for MS-DOS, the game was successfully crowdfunded in 2021 and features a new story where players can choose to play as either Princess Celestina or the swordsman Alya. The remake includes fully voiced Japanese story scenes with English text and is available for $19.99.
