A 2D pixel point-and-click indie game is getting the live-action treatment from the studio behind Sonic the Hedgehog
Story Kitchen, the studio behind the Sonic the Hedgehog movies, is developing a live-action adaptation of the indie point-and-click game The Drifter. The game, created by Powerhoof, follows a man trapped in a time loop after witnessing a murder. The Drifter was released in 2025 for Nintendo Switch and Steam and won multiple Australian Game Developer Awards.
