Aerys II steps out of the shadows: RSC unveils its Mad King cast
The Royal Shakespeare Company has unveiled the cast and first look at their upcoming stage production, "Game of Thrones: The Mad King." The play, which adapts George R. R. Martin's "A Game of Thrones," focuses on the years preceding the novels and features Michael Shaeffer as King Aerys II Targaryen. Performances begin August 8th at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
