Nicolas Cage is set to star in a new standalone film titled Longlegs, with director Osgood Perkins returning to write and direct. Paramount Pictures has acquired the distribution rights for the mystery project, which is not being billed as a sequel. Cage will reprise his role as the serial killer character.
