The creature-collecting survival game Palworld, developed by Pocketpair, has officially launched its 1.0 version after a successful early access period. The game, which has sold 40 million copies, faced legal challenges from Nintendo over its similarities to Pokémon. Despite these issues and some adjustments to game mechanics, Palworld's success has led Pocketpair to explore publishing and develop a spin-off card game and a farming simulator.
