Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 director says making the game four-player is a 'challenge' because there's now 'four times the amount of things that you need to put on screen' — But it 'works better in a PVE game'
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 game director Chris Cross confirmed the sequel will feature four-player co-op, a highly requested feature that the studio found challenging to implement due to the increased number of on-screen elements. Cross explained that four players work well in a PvE setting, allowing for more strategic team compositions and harkening back to classic co-op experiences. The game is planned for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
