Altered TCG shuts down due to missing the €2 million needed "to guarantee the future of the game"
The trading card game Altered has ceased operations due to failing to secure the necessary €2 million to guarantee its future. Despite raising €1.1 million from partners and the community, developer Equinox announced the shutdown of the Roots of Corruption expansion and the game itself. Founder Régis Bonnessée stated that answers regarding digital collections and Board Game Arena's future will be provided after the team processes the decision.
