An Italian court has ruled that Netflix must refund its users for price increases implemented between 2017 and January 2024, and reduce future subscription costs. The lawsuit was brought forth by consumer rights organization Movimento Consumatori, with lawyers estimating refunds of up to 500 euros for Premium subscribers. Netflix has stated its intention to appeal the ruling, asserting compliance with Italian laws.
