ININ Games has announced that Apidya Special, a 24-bit pixel art remake of the 90s shoot 'em up Apidya, is still scheduled for release on August 25, 2026, for PC and Nintendo Switch. The game features handcrafted pixels, an original soundtrack by Chris Hulsbeck, five worlds, over twenty bosses, and a new co-op mode.
