Apple is reportedly exploring 3D printing aluminum for the manufacturing of iPhones and Apple Watches to improve efficiency and potentially lower costs. This follows previous uses of 3D printing for titanium components in Apple Watch Ultra and Series 11, and a USB-C port for the iPhone Air.
