Apple says F1 streaming already exceeds everyone's expectations

Apple's exclusive US streaming deal for Formula 1 is exceeding expectations after the first race, according to Apple VP Eddy Cue. Viewership for the Australian Grand Prix on Apple TV was reportedly up year-over-year and surpassed previous records set by ESPN. Apple is investing heavily in advanced technology for the broadcasts, including Multiview and 4K Dolby Vision.
