Arc Raiders CEO says studio has "re-recorded" AI lines: "A real professional actor is better than AI; that's just how it is"
Embark Studios, the developer of Arc Raiders, has re-recorded some AI-generated voice lines with professional actors, acknowledging a quality difference. CEO Patrick Söderlund stated that while AI is used as a production tool for testing and increasing scope in less critical areas, human actors are preferred for essential immersion. The studio also addressed a recent Discord integration issue where private messages were stored locally.
