As rumours of a new Star Fox game swirl, we finally know what happened to the series' iconic promotional puppets from the 90s
The iconic promotional puppets used for the 1990s release of Star Fox have been destroyed due to deterioration of their natural rubber and fur construction. Japanese FX company Shirogumi, which created them, confirmed their fate after inquiries from Time Extension. Rumors of a new Star Fox game potentially debuting on the Switch 2 this summer are also circulating.
