Before The Mandalorian and Grogu and The Clone Wars, Embo was originally supposed to appear in George Lucas’ abandoned $40 million per episode Star Wars series
Lucasfilm's Dave Filoni revealed that George Lucas' abandoned live-action series, Star Wars: Underworld, was intended to feature the bounty hunter Embo. The ambitious series, planned between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, was ultimately canceled due to budget constraints exceeding $40 million per episode. Embo, who first appeared in The Clone Wars, was inspired by a character from Seven Samurai.
