ArtPlay has announced that Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement has been delayed to 2027. Co-founder Koji Igarashi stated that the extra time is needed for polishing the game, which was originally slated for 2026. The team is dedicated to finishing the game despite the passing of its original director, Shutaro Iida.
