ArtPlay has announced that Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement has been delayed to 2027, moving from its previously planned 2026 release window. Series creator Koji Igarashi stated that the game has entered its final development stages and gameplay footage will be shown soon. The title will continue the metroidvania style of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, featuring a new protagonist named Leo.
