Bootstrap Island's First Major Update Adds New Progression System, New Inventory, and Night Beasts
Maru VR has released Major Update 1.1.0 for its VR survival adventure, Bootstrap Island. This update introduces a new cumulative progression system, an early-game inventory solution called the Crate, and dangerous new nocturnal predators. It also adds bHaptics integration for enhanced immersion and various gameplay improvements based on community feedback. PlayStation VR2 support is planned for 2026.
