BUBBLE BOBBLE Series Celebrates 40th Anniversary in 2026 with a Free Update
Arc System Works Europe and TAITO CORPORATION announced BUBBLE BOBBLE Sugar Dungeons Boosted, a free update for BUBBLE BOBBLE Sugar Dungeons, celebrating the series' 40th anniversary. The update, launching August 20, 2026, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC, introduces new features, a giant "Castle" stage, and includes a port of Bubble Symphony. The BUBBLE BOBBLE series originally launched in 1986.
