Director Peter Berg confirmed that the upcoming Call of Duty film adaptation will be set in the Modern Warfare universe. The screenplay is by Taylor Sheridan, and the film is slated for release on June 30th, 2028. Filming is expected to begin later this year, with pre-production concluding by late 2027.
