Canonical has clarified its plans for integrating Artificial Intelligence features into Ubuntu Linux, emphasizing an opt-in approach and easy removal. Jon Seager, VP Engineering, stated that AI capabilities will be delivered as Snaps, allowing users to uninstall them.
