Cities Skylines 1 is getting its first new expansion in two years as resurrection efforts seemingly continue amid sequel's struggles

Paradox Interactive has announced the first new expansion for Cities Skylines 1 in two years, titled Race Day, which will be released on March 10th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. This comes as the original developer Colossal Order is no longer attached to the series and amid Cities Skylines 2's ongoing development challenges with new studio Iceflake Studios taking over.
