Firaxis has released an update for Civilization 7, adding local hotseat multiplayer functionality that allows multiple players to take turns on a single PC. The update also introduces a new archipelago map type, deeper city mood mechanics, and government system overhauls, alongside the first part of the Brush and Blade DLC featuring Japanese civilizations.
