Crazy Taxi: World Tour PS5 Only Used Generative AI for 'Reference', Insists Series Creator
Series creator Kenji Kanno clarified that generative AI was used solely as a reference tool for artists in the development of Crazy Taxi: World Tour, with all final assets created by humans. SEGA Corporation had previously stated that AI was used to support the development of background assets, which were subject to review. The game is set for a 2027 release on PlayStation 5.
