Crimson Desert Review in Progress
Crimson Desert's opening hours are marred by convoluted controls and a confusing narrative, reminiscent of Pearl Abyss's previous MMO, Black Desert Online. However, the game significantly improves as players settle into its world, offering excellent voice acting, organic learning mechanics for combat and abilities, and a visually stunning, expansive open world. Despite some jankiness and a weaker story compared to genre leaders, the combat is a consistent highlight, making it an experience worth exploring.
