DC Studios' new eight-episode series, The People v. Gorilla Grodd, has been greenlit for HBO Max. Co-chairman and CEO James Gunn described the show as DC Studios' "first foray into the true crime genre" and a mockumentary exploring the villain Gorilla Grodd's alleged murder of his father. The series is written and showrun by Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault, known for American Vandal.
