Dev Offering Refunds, Planning Lawsuit Over Kickstarter Physical Edition Fiasco
Developer Matthias Linda is planning a lawsuit against publisher First Press Games and offering refunds to backers due to significant delays and unfulfilled promises for physical editions of the RPG Chained Echoes. While the game itself has been well-received, the physical release, available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, has faced issues since preorders opened in November 2022.
