Diablo 4 Seasonal and Eternal Realms explained
Diablo 4 is changing how its Seasonal and Eternal Realms function with the upcoming Lord of Hatred expansion. Players will now have the option to use existing Eternal Realm characters for new seasons, offering more flexibility than the previous requirement of creating a new character for each season. Playing on the Seasonal Realm is necessary for earning exclusive Seasonal Rank rewards, while the Eternal Realm offers a persistent world for ongoing character development. Players cannot play cooperatively across different realms, so groups must choose the same realm.
