Diablo 5's player character, the Heir of Westmarch, will have a unique bond with Diablo himself, offering insight into the Lord of Terror's nature and vulnerabilities. Narrative director Jennifer Hepler revealed that this connection will be central to the game's story and gameplay, allowing players to define themselves in opposition to Diablo.
