Director Toma Kimura, also known as Mokochan, of the new Ghost in the Shell anime adaptation revealed he prayed to an imaginary version of original creator Masamune Shirow for guidance during development. The new series, which is airing on Prime Video, follows Motoko Kusanagi's fight against cybercrime in a near-future world.
