Epic is ending 3 Fortnite game modes following its latest round of layoffs: 'We failed to build something awesome enough to attract and retain a large player base'
Epic Games is shutting down three Fortnite game modes: Rocket Racing, Ballistic, and Festival Battle Stage, citing a failure to attract and retain a large player base. The standalone racing game Horizon Chase Turbo and its predecessor Horizon Chase will also be removed from sale on June 1. This decision follows a significant round of layoffs at Epic Games.
