Fable delayed to 2027 to give it "the dedicated moment it deserves"
The Fable reboot, developed by Playground Games for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PlayStation 5, has been delayed to February 2027. Xbox stated the delay is to give the game a dedicated moment and avoid being overshadowed by other major releases. More information will be revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7, 2026.
