FFXIV Same-Region Player Matching Arrives in 7.5X
During the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2026, Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida announced that same-region player matching will be implemented in patch 7.5X, ahead of the 8.0 expansion. This feature aims to alleviate stress from the Data Center travel system and will include the Party Finder. A test will be conducted in the Japanese version before a wider rollout to the United States, Europe, and China.
