Square Enix has revealed new details for Final Fantasy Resonance, a game built on the HD-2D style and inspired by Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. The game features a story set in the Kingdom of Knights, Grandshelt, with characters like Rain, Lasswell, and Fina. Combat is turn-based with a timeline system, stagger gauges, and a vision/resonance mechanic. The game is set to release on October 22, 2026, for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
