Pocketpair developer John Buckley strongly recommends players start a fresh save file for Palworld's upcoming 1.0 release on July 10th, emphasizing that significant game overhauls will make existing saves miss out on content. While players are not forced to wipe their data, Buckley stated that if it were solely his decision, he would implement a mandatory wipe to ensure the best experience.
