Fortnite: Save the World is going free to play

Epic Games announced that Fortnite: Save the World, the co-op survival game released in 2017, will become free-to-play on April 16, 2026. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Players who previously purchased the game will receive in-game rewards upon its free-to-play re-release.
