Kit Harington has been cast as Gilderoy Lockhart in the second season of HBO's Harry Potter series, replacing Nicholas Hoult who departed due to scheduling conflicts. Harington, known for his role as Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, previously voiced Lockhart in the Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions.
