Gears Of War: E-Day Is Drastically Changing Movement For The First Time In The Series
Gears of War: E-Day will introduce significant changes to the series' movement mechanics, including new cover interactions, increased verticality with jumps, and faster traversal in and out of cover. These updates aim to provide more combat choices and will also impact the PvP multiplayer experience. The game is set to launch exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 16, 2026.
