Gecko Gods Review - Small tracks in the sand
Gecko Gods is an adventure game that attempts to capture the discovery and exploration of "pocket Zeldas" but is hampered by its small scope and rough edges. While the gecko protagonist is charming and the core puzzle mechanics are passable, players will encounter frustrating controls, particularly on ceilings and complex geometry, alongside generally low graphical fidelity and draw distances. Despite moments of whimsy and occasional discovery, the game's ambition and detail are too limited to fully impress.
