Santa Monica Studio has indicated that God of War Laufey will be available on disc before Sony halts physical media production in January 2028, suggesting a release window within 2027. The studio also confirmed a panel at San Diego Comic-Con featuring game director Ariel Lawrence and Cory Barlog. The game is in development exclusively for PlayStation 5 and will not receive a PC port.
