Golden Axe animated series gets September release date on Paramount+
Sega's Golden Axe series is being adapted into an animated series, which will begin streaming on Paramount+ on September 16, 2026. The show will follow Ax Battler, Tyris Flare, and Gilius Thunderhead as they battle Death Adder and save Yuria, introducing new characters along the way. The series is executive produced and written by Mike McMahan and Joe Chandler.
