Rockstar Games has revealed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will feature a character switching mechanic similar to Grand Theft Auto 5, allowing players to seamlessly transition between protagonists Jason and Lucia. The preview showcased a Google Earth-style camera transition for this feature, which was captured entirely on a PlayStation 5. The game is set to launch on November 19, 2026.
