Gothic 1 Remake is a faithful yet flawed remake of the influential RPG, retaining its challenging and often obnoxious spirit. While the visual update is spectacular and the core gameplay rewarding, the remake suffers from repetitive, immersion-breaking dialogue and some contrived quests.
