Honda cancels three EVs that were months away from US production
Honda has canceled the production of three electric vehicles, including the Honda 0 SUV, Honda 0 sedan, and Acura RSX, which were nearing completion at its Ohio EV Hub. The company cited eased regulations, US tariffs, and slowing EV demand due to policy changes as reasons for the cancellations. Honda will now focus on next-generation hybrids and will only release EVs when demand justifies it, with a significant restructuring expected to cost up to $15.7 billion.
