House of the Dragon season 3 changes the Game of Thrones theme, and now we know why
The iconic theme music for Game of Thrones will undergo a noticeable change in House of the Dragon season 3, with composer Ramin Djawadi adding drums to the beginning to reflect the season's darker tone. Showrunner Ryan Condal stated the change was made to mark the shift in tone for the upcoming season, which will feature one of the franchise's largest battles, the Battle of the Gullet.
