Hytale shows off WorldGen V2 worldbuilding and explains how the game will shift from V1 to V2 at launch
Hypixel Studios is transitioning Hytale's world generation from V1 to V2, with V2 being the version planned for the 1.0 launch. While existing V1 worlds will remain playable, they will eventually stop generating new chunks, and players will not be able to transfer all their in-game items to V2 worlds. The studio is also actively hiring world designers.
