Intel's new Binary Optimization Tool (BOT), integrated into the Application Optimization Tool (APO), aims to improve CPU performance in select PC games by optimizing thread instructions for Intel's Arrow Lake refresh processors. While BOT can significantly boost CPU-bound performance, its real-world impact on average frame rates is often limited by GPU bottlenecks, with notable improvements seen in titles like Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, but less so in others like Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin's Creed Mirage.
