Is Stardew Valley cross-platform?

Stardew Valley, developed by ConcernedApe, does not currently support cross-platform play or cross-progression as of October 2025, requiring players to be on the same platform for multiplayer. While an experimental multiplayer feature has been added for mobile (Android and iOS) with the 1.6 update, it requires significant setup and is not a seamless experience. The developer has previously cited high technical barriers for implementing full crossplay.
