James Gunn plans to rewatch The Suicide Squad and Blue Beetle to decide what is DCU canon

DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn is rewatching The Suicide Squad and Blue Beetle to determine which elements will be considered canon within the new DC Universe. While the DCU officially began with Creature Commandos, Gunn has stated that Blue Beetle is the first canon character and The Suicide Squad exists as an 'imperfect memory'.
