Japan: Even Nintendo Switch sales have been higher than PS5 since Switch 2 launched
The Nintendo Switch has outsold the PlayStation 5 in Japan since the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, with over 845,000 units sold compared to the PlayStation 5's 545,000 units. Sony's efforts to boost PlayStation 5 sales in the region, including a Japan-only cheaper console model, have not significantly impacted its performance against Nintendo's original handheld.
