Jensen Huang says 100,000 Nvidia GPUs were used to train OpenAI's latest model, GPT-6 Astra, and there's already plans to bring quadruple that amount of hardware online

OpenAI has begun rolling out access to its latest AI model, GPT-6 Astra, which was reportedly trained on over 100,000 Nvidia Grace Blackwell server racks. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated that plans are already in motion to deploy four times that amount of hardware for future models.
